City Sprouts did a good job in bringing our PFS Marymount Kids around for the farm tour. They were friendly and their self-watering plant activity was good as well. Overall a good experience for the kids. The location and staffs were nice as well.

Our Prep students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed our excursion to City Sprouts. It connected beautifully with our inquiry into the natural environment and provided many rich, hands-on learning opportunities. The facilitators were very organised (the portable microphone packs were especially helpful) and showed great patience with our young learners. The chance for students to interact with the chickens in the coop encouraged many to be risk-takers and try something new, while making seed bombs was a fun, memorable activity that students were excited to take home. We also really appreciated having time in the air-conditioned room, which gave everyone some welcome relief from the Singapore heat and helped with the students’ comfort and stamina throughout the day. We highly recommend City Sprouts for other schools looking for an engaging and meaningful excursion experience.

Recently brought my K1 children to City Sprouts Henderson and it was a truly meaningful and enjoyable experience for both the children and teachers. The children had many opportunities to interact closely with nature through hands-on experiences with plants, chickens, creepy crawlies, and the composting area. The farm tour was engaging, age-appropriate, and thoughtfully facilitated. The children were able to learn through exploration, questioning, and sensory experiences, which made the concepts much more meaningful to them. It was a valuable learning journey that supported our children’s understanding of caring for the environment and appreciating where food comes from.

The children had an enjoyable time with City Sprouts. The activities conducted were very hands on and child friendly. Facilitators were very welcoming and interacted well with the children. The farm tour allowed children to have close interaction with the animals and the facilitators took their time to allow each child the opportunity to see and touch the animals and plants there. We also had the opportunity to bring home our own compost and the children continued to care for the earthworms. Parents shared that when their children came back home, they talked about the field trip and enjoyed themselves. City Sprouts was very easy to liaise with and everything was smooth.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the farmers for guiding our preschoolers during the farm visit on 6 March. It was a truly enriching learning experience, especially during the composting workshop where the children had the opportunity to use leftover greens and browns to create compost in recyclable bottles. The farm tour also provided valuable hands-on learning opportunities, allowing the preschoolers to explore and learn the names of edible plants, as well as interact closely with the friendly chickens. A big thank you to the organisers and City Sprouts @ Henderson for hosting such an engaging and meaningful learning experience.

We liked the way you sequence the lesson, alternating between classroom and hands-on activities to keep the students engaged. Your instructions and explanations are clear, and the worksheets are colourful, well-organised and easy to follow.
