School Learning Journeys

Young children and students of all ages will embark on an extraordinary adventure at our urban farm in Singapore that offers a unique blend of education and exploration for young minds. Nestled within Singapore's bustling cityscape, our farm serves as an oasis of agricultural knowledge and environmental stewardship.

  • Kindergartens & Pre-Schools

    Typical Duration: 1 hour

    Children will embark on an adventure to explore wonders across our vibrant farm!


    Their journey typically begins with an engaging 30-minute Farm Adventure Tour, followed by a 30-minute hands-on activity and/or workshop. These activites are tailored to their learning objectives, age and developmental stage.

  • Gardening Masterclass

    Minimum No. of Sessions: 3
    Typical Duration per Session: 3 hours

    Introducing our exciting Gardening Masterclass Series tailored for schools, comprising typically of three engaging sessions designed to cultivate basic gardening skills, knowledge, and techniques to provide proper plant care and optimise plant growth.


    Through our Gardening Masterclass Series, schools will empower students to become stewards of the environment, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to cultivate thriving green spaces.

    Minimum No. of Sessions: 6
    Typical Duration per Session: 2 hours

    Introducing our enriching Gardening CCA Series tailored for schools, spanning from 6 to 15 sessions designed to educate on proper gardening skills, inspire a love for nature, and sustainable practices among students.


    Through our Gardening CCA Series, schools will be able to empower students to become environmentally conscious individuals with a passion for gardening and sustainable living. By providing hands-on learning experiences and fostering a sense of connection to nature, students develop valuable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and environmental stewardship that will serve them well beyond the school and garden.

Our Garden Build projects begins with a comprehensive consultation and site-visit, to understand the unique needs and vision of the school - our team crafts personalised solutions that align with the school's curriculum and educational objectives, using sustainable practices and eco-friendly materials to ensure longevity and environmental responsiblity of each garden. This can include and are not limited to the following:

  • How do I sign up?

    Email us at hello@citysprouts.com.sg or fill out our School Enquiry Form here and we will get back to you within 3-4 business days.

    What is the maximum capacity of your venue?

    The maximum capacity of our venue depends on the venue chosen for your programme. Currently, we are operating at 4 venues, with the majority of school programmes running at City Sprouts @ Henderson for now. At City Sprouts @ Henderson, our maximum capacity per session is 80 children/students (excluding accompanying teachers).

    Do you have a wet weather plan for your programmes?

    Yes, we have a comprehensive wet weather plan for all our school programmes. Depending on the severity of the weather (light rain/mid-rain/heavy downpour), any outdoor activities may be moved to our indoor venues/facilities to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants. Details of the wet weather plan will be shared with the client in advance via email.

    Is there anything the children/students need to prepare for their programme?

    Yes, children and students are strongly advised to bring and/or wear their hats, water bottles, sunscreen, covered shores, and ponchos/umbrellas when attending their programme.
