We are organising our flagship Farm Day Out at our Henderson community farm! We're bringing back our highly requested open house of guided tours perfect for a family day out in nature.

Learn about different farming methods, get up close with our dear farm chickens and understand the importance of food waste management through our composting and bio-digester stations.

Farm Tour

Join City Sprouts for a 60-minute farm tour! Kids will explore six interactive stations focusing on sustainability, urban farming, food origins, and reducing food waste, offering a fun and educational experience to inspire young minds.

Henderson

Mushroom Growing Workshop

Participants will be using recycled materials like cardboard to grow your very own mushrooms!

West Coast

Sugarcane Harvesting

After the farm tour, we’ll head to the sugarcane patch to explore plant physiology in action. Families will harvest, juice, and sip cool, refreshing sugarcane straight from the stalk, while learning how plants store energy as natural sugars.

  • Refund Policy

    A minimum number of participants is required for the programme to begin. A full refund will be refunded in the form of credits should the minimum number is not met. There will be no refund for cancellation two weeks prior to the date of the programme.
