On the 19th of August, farmers from City Sprouts Punggol gathered for a meaningful evening under the blue skies with the mission to cultivate connections and align passions. It was heartwarming to hear individual passions align with one another, creating a communal spirit of togetherness.

Endless Possibilities, Purpose-Driven Passions

With so many like-minded visionaries in the same room (or rather, farm shed), brainstorming the potentials of this Punggol community space was non-exhaustive and very exciting. The possibilities were endless. To many of the farmers, Punggol holds a special and endearing significance to them - first matrimonial home, new beginnings, or even a retirement space for ease and calmness.

Combining this affinity with their purpose-fueled passion for horticulture, the farmers in Punggol hold a clear communal vision for advocating community togetherness through their love for nature.

Presently at Punggol

Check out the blooming greenhouses currently opened at Punggol! Kebon Dapor is a kampong-inspired greenhouse showcasing rich Malay heritage through their Batik interiors and cosy wood furnishing. Social media sensation, Little Botany, is also a must-visit greenhouse for plant collectors and enthusiast.

For those seeking locally harvested edibles for your dinner, check out Plot 21, Hoh Farmers and Sprouts to Bloom for their wide range of unique vegetables and fruit produce. Nothing can beat the freshness of having local vegetables harvested right here in Punggol!

Innovation and agriculture goes hand-in-hand, especially in land-scarce Singapore. Our farmers are constantly experimenting new techniques to cultivate their plantations, so remember to keep up with their exciting new discoveries!
