Our Vision
A resilient, sustainable, and inclusive Singapore.
City Sprouts transforms underutilised urban spaces into green hubs where people can grow, learn, connect and contribute. Through our farms, programmes, events, volunteering and partnerships, we create opportunities for stronger communities and a closer connection to the environment.
Why We Do It
A resilient, sustainable, and inclusive Singapore.
To transform urban spaces into green hubs that champion eco-conscious living and social cohesion.
Green spaces, programmes and partnerships that bring people together.
We turn underutilised urban spaces into welcoming places where people can learn, grow and take part, from urban farms and gardens to volunteering and community activities.

We help urban farmers grow food, share knowledge and connect with the wider community, while helping people understand where their food comes from.
We design hands-on experiences for schools, youth, seniors, corporates and communities that bring people closer to nature, sustainability and one another.
Through volunteering, markets, events and community activities, we create spaces where people can meet, contribute, build relationships and belong.
We work with schools, businesses and community organisations to create meaningful opportunities for people to participate and contribute.
Every programme, partnership and shared space creates opportunities to connect, learn and contribute.
Creating opportunities to
Our work contributes to five areas, each reflecting a different part of the change we hope to see.
Our spaces bring residents, families, volunteers, farmers, corporates and partners together through shared activities, events and volunteering. This helps people move from simply visiting to becoming part of the community.
Through hands-on programmes, we make sustainability easier to understand and act on. These experiences build awareness and encourage simple, everyday eco-friendly habits.
Through inclusive programmes and partnerships, persons with disabilities can build practical green skills, confidence and meaningful responsibilities, supporting greater independence and participation in community life.
Through gardening, wellness, cooking, volunteering and intergenerational programmes, seniors can stay active, connect with others and continue contributing to community life.
Through school programmes, makerspaces, sustainability events, volunteering and Earthopia, young people explore and learn by doing. These experiences create pathways from participation to contribution and leadership.
We look beyond reach to understand experiences, outcomes and meaningful change.
Reach tells us how many people we engage.
Feedback tells us how people experienced our programmes.
Outcome data helps us understand whether those experiences are making a difference.
Learning As We Grow
We use feedback, programme data and partnerships to keep learning and improving, because impact is not only what we do, but what changes because we do it.
