What is Masak Masak?

Masak Masak-Traditions Reimagined is a contemporary festival at City Sprouts West Coast that celebrates Singapore's food heritage and future traditions. Focused on food, nature, and community, it encourages visitors to rediscover recipes and values through shared meals, conversations, and hands-on experiences. The festival includes interactive farm tours, cooking experiences, workshops, a curated marketplace, and communal dining, fostering connections among people of all ages.

  • Farm Tour

    AM: 8.30am,10.30am, 12pm

    PM: 1.30pm, 3pm

    Embark on a 30 min journey through our West Coast farm. Discover hidden corners of the farm, meet the passionate farmers behind the harvest, and uncover the stories behind the produce grown right from the soil. Along the way, learn about sustainable farming practices, explore hidden corners of the farm, and gain a deeper appreciation for the people and produce that nourish our community.

    *Farm tour slots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • TCM Herb Bar

    8am to 8pm

    Step into our TCM Herb Bar, where age-old herbal wisdom comes to life in the most unexpected way.Discover what your body has been trying to tell you through a personalised consultation with The TCM Folks, then bring your prescription to life by crafting your own herbal drink at our interactive TCM Herb Bar with 童心堂 (Tong Xin Tang).From fragrant teas to refreshing spritzers and creamy milk teas, customise your brew with modern flavours inspired by traditional remedies. Whether you're curious about TCM or simply looking for a one-of-a-kind festival experience,TCM Herb Baris your invitation to taste tradition, play with herbs, and uncover a little more about yourself.

  • Food Passport

    Explore our lively marketplace filled with traditional flavours, local makers, and cultural treasures. Visitors can also purchase a Food Passport for just $12, allowing them to embark on a tasting journey around the marketplace and enjoy up to 5 samples from participating food stalls.

    *participants can take up to 5 samples and each sample must be from a different store.

  • Refund Policy

    A minimum number of participants is required for the programme to begin. A full refund will be refunded in the form of credits should the minimum number is not met. There will be no refund for cancellation two weeks prior to the date of the programme.

    Please note that photos and videos may be taken during activities for the purpose of use on social media,  in e-newsletters and on our website. All media will not be used for commercial purposes, or in any manner that would exploit or cause malicious representation.

  • Indemnity Notice

    As a participant, you acknowledge and waive all liabilities and claims that may arise from risks of injury, risks as a result of an encounter with the animals & plants, heat related injuries and illness including but not limited to heat exhaustion, sunburn and dehydration.
